Founder, Director of International Film Festival for Children and Young Audience SCHLINGEL
Michael Harbauer is devoted to films since his early childhood.
In 1996, he initiated the International Film Festival for Children and Young Audience SCHLINGEL. What was originally launched as a film week with not more than twelve films, is now one of the most comprehensive platforms for international and national children’s and youth films in Germany. Furthermore, Michael Harbauer is film supervisor at the important regulating institutions and advisory boards for film, cinema and television in Germany.He has also been member of several international festival juries and curated German film programmes abroad.

Artistic Director of the Tel Aviv International Children’s Film Festival (TAICFF) in Israel.
She studied Film at the Steve Tisch School of Film and Television in Tel Aviv University and is a director of short films and children’s plays. In addition, Noy curates cultural events and is a lecturer of film and animation.

Festival & Project Coordinator, PRIX JEUNESSE Foundation
Kirsten Schneid has studied Political Science in Munich and Jerusalem. She was a trainee in print and television media and worked as a foreign correspondent in Israel for the Catholic News Agency before she joined the PRIX JEUNESSE Foundation, an organization dedicated to promoting quality in children’s television worldwide. At PRIX JEUNESSE Kirsten organizes the bi-annual PRIX JEUNESSE INTERNATIONAL, the world’s leading festival for children’s and youth TV programmes and organizes and conducts training for children’s TV experts with the “PRIX JEUNESSE Suitcase”, a training tool that introduces children’s TV producers in all parts of the world to the festival’s selection of quality programmes. Additionally, Kirsten oversees the Foundation’s media-literacy initiatives for children.
Storyboard artist and illustrator
Kurt Van Der Basch is a Prague-based storyboard artist and illustrator. He entered the film industry in 1999 as an office assistant and quickly began designing props for various productions. In 2003, he turned to storyboarding and has since worked on projects including “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” “The Last Jedi,” “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom,” and music videos for artists such as Madonna and Kanye West. Kurt’s recent projects include Rian Johnson’s “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery” and the upcoming musical adaptation of “Wicked” with Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo. Kurt regularly teaches workshops for film and illustration students.

Born in Athens, in 1976. After finishing school at the Athens College, he studied law at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (GR). Holding postgraduate degrees from the Universities of Rotterdam (NL), Hamburg (D) and Aix-Marseille III (F), he is an attorney-at-Law licensed by the Athens Bar since 2001. Since 2008 he is president of ANIMASYROS International Animation Festival and since 2015 president of ASIFA HELLAS – Hellenic Animation Association. In 2018 he received the title of the Knight in the Order of Letters & Arts of France, while during 2018-2019 he chaired the board of the Greek National Opera. Since 2022 he is president of CIFEJ – International Center of Films for. Children & Young People.
