MR LAWRENCE FOLDES

Filmmaker, Executive Committee member: Student Academy Awards (Oscar)
Lawrence David Foldes is the critically acclaimed award-winning filmmaker behind several cult hits. He was recognized as the youngest professional filmmaker on record when he produced his first feature “Malibu High” at the age of 18. Lawrence is a long-standing member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences and serves on the Executive Committee of the Student Academy Awards. 

His feature “Finding Home” received numerous film festival honors worldwide including 5 Best Picture awards.

MS MARKETA PASMOVA

Artistic Director, Zlin Int’l Film Festival, Czech Republic
Mrs. Markéta Pášmová (1975), She graduated from the Philosophical Faculty of Masaryk University in Brno. In 1999, she began working as a program organizer at Zlín Film Festival. In 2004, she began working at Zlín Film Festival as head of the program department. Since January 2013 she has been the artistic director. She is focused on European cinema and is active in the field of educational programs for children and youth. She sits regularly in professional juries of similarly oriented festivals. She is a board member of the foundation FILMTALENT ZLÍN, which supports talented young filmmakers and she is a board member of European Children’s Film Association. 

Markéta Pášmová is the head film programme organizer of the festival, comprehensively covering its dramaturgical composition and line. She develops and maintains domestic and international relations in the realm of film professionals.

MR MICHAEL HARBAUER

Festival Director, Schlingel Int’l Film Festival, Germany
Michael Harbauer (Festival Director of IFF SCHLINGEL) is devoted to films since his early childhood. In 1996, he initiated the International Film Festival for Children and Young Audience SCHLINGEL. What was originally launched as a film week with not more than twelve films, is now one of the most comprehensive platforms for international and national children’s and youth films in Germany. Furthermore, Michael Harbauer is film supervisor at the important regulating institutions and advisory boards for film, cinema and television in Germany.

He has also been member of several international festival juries and curated German film programmes abroad.

MR JAROSLAVA HYNSTOVA

Programmer, Zlin int’l film festival, Czech Republic, Screenwriter and director of comedy plays
Jaroslava Hynštová was born in 1977 in Slavičín, Czech Republic. She studied at the Palacky University in Olomouc, Czech Republic, major Film studies and English philology. She has been working as a film programmer, dramaturgist at the International Film Festival for Children and Youth in Zlín since 2005. As a Zlín Film Festival representative she participated in the juries all around the world (e.g. South Korea, Estonia, Sweden, France, Germany). During the Summer Festival Camp organized by Zlín Film Festival she works as a dubbing instructor. 

She was also a regional cultural correspondent for the biggest Czech newspape. She translated films for Zlín Film Festival and worked as a guest manager for the small film festival Eurofilm in the spa town Luhačovice. She is a founder of an amateur theatre group in her home town Luhačovice, she is the screenwriter and director of more than 10 comedy plays based on different film genres.

MR JOSEP ARBIOL

Holder of a Diploma in Teaching . University of Valencia. Degree in Spanish philology. University of Valencia.


He was born in Estivella (Valencia – Spain) in 1962 and he works as a teacher at CEIP Santa Teresa in the Carmen Neighborhood in Valencia. He has a long career in audiovisual media both in Spain and abroad. His direction in educational films with children have been awarded in numerous festivals and competitions both national and international (Greece, Romania, India, Hungary, Bolivia, Croatia, Italy, Argentina, India and South Korea among others).

Most of the artistic activities that he has carried out are educational. As a teacher and as a creative person, his job is to provide more channels for the creativity of young people, trying to achieve the success that leads them to develop their own creativity without copying other ways. However, to work creatively, you should be creative.
He has taught courses in the CEFIRE of Valencia and he has given conferences and participated in roundtables in Spain and internationally. He is usual collaborator of the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Philosophy and Educational Sciences of the University of Valencia. He also teaches courses in the Summer University of Gandia.
He is a member of the ECFA (European Children’s Film Association) based in Brussels. He is a member of CIFEJ (International Center pour les Films de l’ Enfance et la Jeunesse ) based in Tehran. He is a member of the Red Unial . Audiovisual Universe of the Latin American child with headquarters in Havana . He has also worked as stage director for plays and concerts in Spain and Germany.
He has coauthored three books published by the Diputación de Castellón , Department of Education and City council of Alzira around Education and worked with various specialized journals such as Cuadernos de Pedagogia, Revista Futura, Saó and publications of the University of summer of Gandia among others .

Author and Producer of national audiovisual education programme, Director Int’l Film Festival – KINOLUB
Marta Kraus – in the years 2010-2014 the director of the Children’s Film Festival in Krakow, from 2014 r. the director of the International Film Festival for Children and Youth KINOLUB. The author and producer of national audiovisual education programme for teachers and tutors. 

 Has many years of experience in project management and consulting in the audiovisual, educational and social development sectors. Since 2016 in charge of the Podkarpackie Film Commission and Podkarpackie Regional Film Fund, responsible for the international promotion of the region’s film potential and the establishment and growth of local creative industry.

MS HILDE STEENSSENS

Artistic and general director of Filem’On, Belgium
Hilde Steenssens (1972) has a master’s degree in Educational Science and Crimology, She has a strong believe that media literacy is very important for today’s children. She was volunteer and curator for the Brussels arthouse cinema “Nova” from 2004 until 2010 for the kids program “Cineketje” and founded Filem’On – The International Filmfestival for Young Audiences in 2007. Hilde Steenssens is the artistic and general director of Filem’On and is responsable for the programmation, providing the financial support, the production of workshops, cinéconcerts and the coordination of the team.

Each year the festival presents about 150 films : live action, animation, experimental and documentary, features and shorts.

MR DRAGAN MILINKOVIC FIMON

Eminent university professor, producer, drama writer and Director
Dragan Milinkovic Fimon is an eminent university professor, producer, drama writer and director with an admirably rich career. He graduated from the Belgrade Drama School and won his Master degree at the Belgrade Faculty of Philology – Sociology of Literature department. Following scientific research in Paris (Cultural Centre George Pompidou) and London (British Film Institute), he completed his PhD with thesis on Possibilities of filming a novel. He carried out post PhD researches in Paris (economics of culture), Moscow (East-European cinema), Seoul (cinematic language), London (literature and cinema), and Barcelona (media education). 

For more than thirty years Professor Fimon is very active member of CIFEJ, CILECT and a few other international film associations and organizations. He was teaching at the Academy of Drama Arts in Montenegro, Art Academy in Belgrade, European Film Academy ESRA in Paris, USAC in Turin. Additionally, he is the author of “Film in Schools” an international CIFEJ project which was approved at CIFEJ GA in Beijing 2014, and already started to be implemented in Iran and a few other countries. Fimon is also known to be a producer, director and associate of films and TV projects, theatre writer and director, author of several books and essays (Film history an theory, Sociology of arts, Economics of arts), and author of well acclaimed workshops (Looking at Children Cinema, Children’s Cinema Education, Cinema end Literature, Reading Emir Kusturica, Stage and Screen Acting etc). Furthermore, he has been internationally active as Executive director of the International Festival of Alternative Theatre, Founder and director of the first Ethnic Theatre in London, Jury member of many international film festival, Executive director of the Serbian Film Centre in Belgrade, president of the Serbian Association of Film Societies, and cofounder and director of the SEE A PARIS, International film festival of South East European countries.

MR VOLOYMYR DIAGILEY

Executive director: DYTIATKO International Children’s Television Festival
Executive director of the DYTIATKO International Children’s Television Festival, He is on the Board of Directors of the CIFEJ & member of the National union of journalists of Ukraine, member of Eurasian Academy of television and radio, the Head of the Kharkiv Association of Children’s Screen Arts «Dytiatko». He is also the founder of the single in Ukraine scenario pitching for children’s studios.
