Former Film expert at the Norwegian Media Authority.

Berit Andersen is a trained teacher and has a Master’s Degree in Media from the University of Oslo, specializing in film and reception studies. Berit works at the Norwegian Film Institute where she manages the work on children and film education. Berit has many years of experience as a film expert from her previous job at the Norwegian Media Authority, where she worked with classification and ratings of cinema films.

Jerzy Moszkowicz, the director of International Young Audience Film Festival Ale Kino! and Children Art’s Centre in Poznań, Poland. Arts manager and stage director, author of theatre performances, TV films and programmes for children and young adults. In the past the president of International Centre of Films for Children and Young People – CIFEJ and board member of ECFA – European Children’s Film Association. Jury member of a number of film festivals for children and young people all around the world.

Director, producer and programmer at PLAY- Lisbon

Director, producer and programmer at PLAY- Lisbon International Children Film festival since its foundation, 8 years ago. Has been working in production and coordination of several projects in TV, Cinema and performing arts. Parallel to the festival activity, Catarina started, in 2019, a new educational project of cinema classes to needy children from 8 to 10 years old  from deprived urban neighborhoods, in order to include cinema as a part of school curriculum across premier schools in Portugal.

Mr. Mikk Granström - ESTONIA

Head of Children and Youth Filmfestival Just Film,Tallinn

Mikk Granström joined PÖFF in 2007. His main tasks are leading the team and handling various organizational matters, compiling and monitoring the festival budget, and developing various projects and establishing long-term objectives with the director of the Festival. Since 2013, Mikk Granström has also been a member of the board of directors of PÖFF. Mikk is also a head of Children and Youth Filmfestival Just Film. Mikk graduated from Tallinn University in the area of education management in 2019 (MA, Cum Laude). Today, Mikk is working on his doctoral thesis in education sciences.

Artistic director, Providence Children’s fest

Eric Bilodeau has programmed cinematic venues for over thirty years. His experience spans the film exhibition horizon, including advising and booking for multi-screen commercial cinemas and small art house theaters. Festival programming became his focus when hired in 2007 as Director of Programming for the Newport International Film Festival. He was then Invited to be Director of Programming for the newly created Providence Children’s Film Festival in 2010. During the next decade as Director of Programming he has attended and developed relationships with many North American and international youth film festivals while serving as a programming advisor for the International Kids Film Festival of India and Children’s Programmer for the Martha’s Vineyard Film Festival. In 2020 he became Executive Director of PCFF.

She has co-founded Purple Pebble Pictures with her daughter Priyanka Chopra and already produced several films including Oscar nominated film The White Tiger & critically acclaimed film Pahuna .

Dr. Madhu Chopra is a powerhouse in her own right… a family physician and an ENT
surgeon, she is now a renowned cosmetic aesthetician with a private clinic in Juhu, Mumbai.
Dr. Chopra has travelled across the globe to learn and master the many procedures of
cosmetic surgery and its ever-changing technology. She excelled scholastically and has a
string of illustrious academic achievements.
She was a medical practitioner in the Armed Forces for a major part of her professional
career. When Priyanka was crowned Miss India, and then Miss World, Dr. Chopra gave up a
thriving practice and moved to Mumbai to allow her daughter every opportunity to pursue her
dreams. This also led to her managing the formative years of her career, while also being an
advisor, directly handling all the financial aspects of her life. This experience has equipped
her with the skills necessary to successfully run a production house.
While Ms. Priyanka Chopra Jonas makes the creative calls at Purple Pebble Pictures, Dr.
Chopra is the financial whiz and handles the business side of things. Together, they are a
force to reckon with!

Christine L Mendoza
Ms. Christine L. Medoza - USA

Former Director of Education at Film at Lincoln Center. Author, Educationalis

Christine L. Mendoza has over two decades of experience in Education and Film. While still a teenager in New York City, Christine produced two award-winning films with the Educational Video Center. Since then, she has published multiple articles and book chapters in her field and has worked teaching film at local institutions such as the Museum of Modern Art, The Educational Video Center, NYU and Columbia University. She has also worked internationally using film as an educational tool in Finland, India, Iran, Northern Ireland, South Africa, Spain, Bolivia and Peru. Christine is devoted to her community and has worked with multiple social justice organizations including The Northern Manhattan Coalition for Immigrant Rights, working on civics campaigns for and with latinos to become U.S. Citizens, understand the dynamics of Domestic Violence and Smoking Cessation initiatives. Christine L. Mendoza received her Masters Degree from the Comparative Ethnic Conflict Program at Queens University in Belfast and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Media Studies from Hunter College in NYC. She is currently authoring her first book on “Growing up in Youth Media”, is on the Board of Directors of the International Center of Films for Children and Young People, the Educational Video Center and is a Contemporary Collectors Committee Member for the Museo de Barrio in Harlem, New York. Christine is the former Director of Education at Film at Lincoln Center and the former Director of Development and Programs for the Northern Manhattan Coalition for Immigrant Rights and the inaugural Executive Director of the Urbanworld Foundation. She is also the founder of Christine L Mendoza INC which runs CL Mendoza Education.

Firdoze Bulbulia (MA) African Studies; Ohio University, USA and a BA (Dramatic Arts Honours, WITS University, South Africa); Teacher’s Diploma in English and Afrikaans and a Licentiate (ATCL-LTCL) in Drama from Trinity College, UK. Currently pursuing a PhD (Art, Design & Architecture). Award-winning feature film documentaries, animations and theatre producer, director and trainer; host of the FShow an online chat through which we discuss contemporary and political topics with high-profile guests from all over the world. 

Chairperson of The Children and Broadcasting Foundation for Africa (CBFA) hosted the 5th World Summit on Media for Children in 2007 and produced several multi-media productions for radio and television. Firdoze is an international trainer, producer, creating media solutions especially for women and children. She served two mandates as President of the International Centre of Films for Children and Young People -CIFEJ (www.cifej.com). And Co-founder of ABC (Africa’ Best Channel- a children and youth television channel in Nigeria). And the African Animation Studio focusing on Pan-African Animations. She has produced 6-feature films and is currently producing a Legacy Project on Former President Nelson Mandela “Mandela’s Africa”. She is the Festival Director of The Nelson Mandela Children’s Film Festival and former Festival Director of Zanzibar International Film Festival (2019)

Mr. Vassilis Karamistanis - GREECE

President of of ASIFA HELLAS – Hellenic Animation Association , Greece and Animasyros International Animation Fest.

An attorney-at-Law licensed by the Athens Bar, he was the adviser to the culture ministry in Greece.

Born in Athens, in 1976. After finishing school at the Athens College, he studied law at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (GR). Holding postgraduate degrees from the Universities of Rotterdam (NL), Hamburg (D) and Aix-Marseille III (F), he is an attorney-at-Law licensed by the Athens Bar since 2001. Since 2008 he is president of Animasyros International Animation Festival and since 2015 president of ASIFA HELLAS – Hellenic Animation Association. In 2018 he received the title of the Knight in the Order of Letters & Arts of France, while during 2018-2019 he chaired the board of the Greek National Opera. He is vice-president of CIFEJ – International Center of Films for. Children & Young People.

Mr. Hamed Soleimanzadeh - IRAN

International Film Critic, Researcher, Filmmaker, Actor, Author.

Member of FIPRESCI, 74th Cannes & 72th Berlin Film Festival Jury.

Hamed Soleimanzadeh is an International Film Critic, Researcher, Filmmaker, Actor, Author, Translator, and a University Professor. He is an official member of The International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI). He Is holding a Ph.D. degree in Film Studies and he is currently working with the UDK University in Berlin as a researcher in the field of Film and Philosophy.

So far he has been among the jury members of many international film festivals like the 72nd Berlin Film Festival in Germany, 74th Cannes Film Festival in France, 44th  Göteborg International Film Festival in Sweden, 25th Schlingel International Film Festival for Children and Young Audiences in Germany, etc.

Founder and director of the children’s film festival LaMatattena, Mexico

Degree in Social Communication. Founder and Director of the International Film Festival for Children (…and not so Children) in Mexico for 27 years and also of La Matatena, Association of Film for Girls and Boys, A.C.

Film producer made by children, specialist in the production, design and creation of methodologies to teach and introduce kids to the world of moving images to impulse them to make their own short films.

In 2021, La Matatena, AC, received the Medal of Arts from the local Chamber of Deputies of Mexico City, in recognition of the entire team of the association, for our work in favor of cultural rights. of girls, boys and youth in our City. I also consider myself a defender of the children rights.
