SMILE INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL FOR CHILDREN & YOUTH - 2015
SIFFCY’2015 opened on 21st December 2015 at Sirifort Auditorium complex, New Delhi with award winning Russian movie “Celestial Camel”, directed by ‘Yury Feting’, followed by ‘France – Belgium’ co-production “Birds of Passage”, Directed by ‘Yves Ringer, Olivier Ringer’. Union minister for Women and Child development Mrs Maneka Gandhi and National award winning film maker Mr. Tigmanshu Dhulia inaugurated the opening ceremony of the festival in the presence of, Santanu Mishra, co-founder and executive trustee of Smile Foundation and chairman SIFFCY, Jitendra Mishra festival director SIFFCY & other dignitaries.Read more…

SIFFCY’2016 opened on 5th December 2016 at Sirifort Auditorium complex, New Delhi with award-winning Swiss-German movie “Heidi”, directed by ‘Alain Gsponer’, followed by Award winning Indian movie “The Trap(Ottaal)”, Directed by ‘Jayaraaj. SMILE INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL FOR CHILDREN & YOUTH - 2017
The week-long celebration of Good Cinema – SIFFCY (Smile International Film Festival for Children and Youth ) opened on the 11th of December 2017 at the Siri Fort Auditorium in New Delhi. SIFFCY 2017 showcased 120+ critically acclaimed films from more than 50 countries to an audience of over 20,000 children & youth. More than 10 different kinds of capacity building and professional workshops (FREE) were hosted during this week. Celebrated Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon inaugurated the festival this year, along with #SIFFCY Chairman Santanu Mishra (Co-founder, Smile Foundation), Festival Director Jitendra Mishra, and international Jury members Arend Agethe (Germany), Michal Mathus (Israel), Gert Hermans (Belgium), Judita Soukupova (Czech Republic), and Chantal Bowen (Canada).Read more…

The fourth edition of Smile International Film Festival for Children and Youth (SIFFCY) was held from 10-16th December 2018 at the Siri Fort Auditorium in New Delhi, India. This unique celebration of good cinema has been growing with each passing year in terms of entries and presence of global fraternity from the space of cinema and films. ‘150 critically acclaimed films from over 50 countries were screened at SIFFCY 2018 with 30,000 youth participating in screenings, workshops, panels and master-classes during the weeklong festival.”Read more…

The 8th edition of SIFFCY
Smile Int’l Film Festival for Children & Youth was held on a hybrid model (Both online and offline) from 24-30th of APRIL 2022. More than 100000 unique visitors from across the country and 100+ industry professionals, juror, festival organizers and filmmakers from across the globe took part through the dedicated virtual platform of the festival. Simultaneously several physical screenings and interactive sessions were being organized in collaboration with our school partners in different cities.
