Synopsis :
Can you imagine how far a tiny white ball can take you—and how vast a world it can reveal?
Before Haimusi returned to his mountain village, the Bunun children had never even seen a golf ball. But he remembered what his mother once told him: “Sharing is a kind of strength.”
So he began teaching the children for free, introducing them to a sport they’d never known. He founded the Taiwan Black Bear Golf Team, not just to teach golf, but to give these kids a chance to choose a different life. Their goal? Not just a dream, but a world championship.
This story begins in the team’s fifth year.
That year, a rebellious new player joined the team. His arrival sparked conflicts, growing pains, setbacks—and ultimately, transformation.
The team faced more than just lack of funding. They battled racial prejudice, parental doubt, teenage confusion, and the temptation of being poached after success.
But more important than the challenges were the qualities these young players showed: resilience, problem-solving, unity, and relentless dedication.
Through fire and hardship, the little black bears grew.
Their dreams began to rise—no longer distant hopes, but real steps toward the world stage.
